     Glover's suture or Glover's stitch, a kind of stitch used
        in sewing up wounds, in which the thread is drawn
        alternately through each side from within outward.

            in any part of a plant; as, the ventral suture of a
            legume.

        (a) The line at which the elytra of a beetle meet and are
            sometimes confluent.
